The graph illustrates the count of male and female graduates passing out in each year in Canada from 1992 to 2007. The graph reaches a peak in year 1994 for both male and females. It remains almost same for females but we can observe a fluctuating trend for males. From year 2002 onwards, there was a exponential growth for males as well as for females. In the period from 1992-1995, Canada observed a increasing graph for both genders. In 1992, around 99000 females and 70000 males were graduates. It increased at a uniform rate till the year 1995. In this year, it can be observed that the graduates are highest in this year since the year 1992. From the year 2001 onwards, the graph started showing the upward trend and reached the peak. In 2006, around 149000 females graduated and around 95000 males graduated which is the highest point of the graph. In the entire graph, there is only one portion where we can observe a major downward trend. The time period for this trend is from 1995 to1998. The count for females dropped from around 14000 to 100000 and remains same for approximately 2 years. A simliar trend can be seen for males also as their numbers dropped from 75000 to 71000. This period of 3 years (1995-1998) is the only time when there is a reduction in count of graduates.
