The pie charts show how people in the UK and Brazil access the news, divided into four different ways. Overall, it can be seen that online and television are the most popular methods to approach the news in both countries. To begin with, in Brazil, online ranks the first place with more than a half of people using it to access information, followed by 38% of Brazilians updating news through television which has the second-highest proportion. Print and radio are less selected for daily updates, with the figure of 6% and 2% respectively. Contrary to Brazil, the British approach information through TV the most, accounting for 41% while more than a third of the population get news via online method, which is 15% less than the proportion in Brazil. Moreover, 15% of people access news from printing media, which is double that of Brazilians. Radio is the least popular way to update news in the UK with 7% of people using it.
