The charts give information data about how much fruit and vegetables was produced among 27 countries in the European Union, measured in tonnes in 2009. In general, what stands out from the pie charts in that the products of fruits was comparatively smaller than the amount of vegetables production, 32 million tonnes and 57 million tonnes respectively over the period in question. In details, the rate of lettuces amounted to 42% which was the smallest proportion of vegetables constituting the half of the chart by coupling the amount of their harvests. As regards the breakdowns of onions and carrots, they made up together 19. 5% of overall tonnes that consisted of 10% smaller proportion compared to tomatoes. By contrast, apples and other types of fruits counted as the largest proportion, 3%, 33. 5% and 30. 2% respectively. The all portions of peaches, pears and strawberries were nearly equal 17. 8% that came from oranges in that year.
