The two pie charts illustrate the percentage of smartphones and tablets used by people in the US in their leisure time. In general, it is clear that the proportion of people who played games is the most popular on both devices while the opposite was true for that of people who read news on smartphones and used utilities on tablets. Looking at the charts in more detail, we can see that the figure for games was 35% on mobile phones compared to that with 57% on tablets. Furthermore, the second common with people was social networking and the percentage of people who used smartphones for social networking was nearly 30% which doubles on tablets. Likewise, the figure for utilities accounted for a fifth on mobile phones whereas that on tablets just under one in twenty. With regards to the remaining utilities of devices, 8% of the US population took interest in listening to music and watching videos on smartphones, which made up 13% on tablets. Moreover, the proportion of news was respectively 3% and 4% on two devices. Finally, mobile phones were used for other utilities just one in twenty and that on tablets made up approximately one in ten.
