The bar graph illustrates the statistics about three major exports in Southland in 2006, the current year and forecast for 2026. In general, it is clear that meat products always account for the lowest percentage. In addition, there is a growing trend in the international tourism from the past to future while the other two tend to decrease slightly in 2026. Looking at the chart in more detail, it can be seen that in the past, the proportion of international tourism was the highest rate with 6 billion USD in revenue, followed by dairy products which approximately 5 billion USD. Nowadays, there is a dramatically increase in dairy products and it is rising to the top of three main exports. Besides, the revenue of meat products are falling gradually while international tourism are still keeping the climbing trend at a steady rate, from 6 billion to 7 billion. However, in 2026, tourism industries will account the highest percentage again with roughly 8 billion in revenue.
