The pictorial illustration compares the maps of Boracay Island in 1970 and 2010, wherein latter year it grew as a tourist destination. Overall, everything except Caves and Mangroves was replaced.
The topmost part of the island had caves, and to travel within the place, people used footpaths, which changed to the road in 2010. When one came down from the cave, after a few miles there was a fish market on the west side. This region was restored to Wind Surfing, which can also be found across this along with the Driving school, and below that were restaurants and bars in the west. Further, mangroves were seen to the right of the path, later whose population increased drastically.
The lowest section had the white sandy beach and just above in the eastern region, there were beach huts, opposite to that were sand dunes. However, all were renovated, with dunes updated to Driving schools near cottages and huts modified to Hotel Beach Resort. Unfortunately, the beach got destroyed due to a typhoon.
