The two maps depict the changes that had taken place in Felixstone between 1967 and 2001. Overall, there has been considerable development in Felixstone in the building, infrastructure, and entertainment. Felixstone is situated on the North side of a Sea and the facilities can be reached from the two high streets. In 1967, in the northeast corner, there was farmland and on the opposite side, a golf course. On the two sides of the vertical high street, there were many shops. A fish market, marina, and pier were found in the southeast part of Felixstone. Furthermore, a Café was constructed on the north side of the marina, and next to it, a Hotel was placed. On the west, there was a set of dunes and a forest. In 2001, the farmland was replaced with a hotel, which has a swimming pool and two tennis courts. The fish market, pier, and marina were demolished and were turned into a private beach. The public beach is located in the centre-right below the Café. A car park was added to the previous hotel. The right side of shops was turned into apartments, and under the dunes, wind turbines were placed.
