The maps illustrate developments, which happened in New Zealand’s town called Youngsville from 1980 to 2005. It is clear from naps that over the 25 years the town has changed dramatically. New technologies came to Youngsville, so the number of parks and woodlands decreased. Looking at the maps in more detail, we can notice that new port appeared near the railway station on the river Alanah, which called Marina. The small houses in the South have been replaced by the tall skyscrapers to provide more people with places for living. The park in the North-west part was developed, there are much more activities provided in 2005 than in 1980. Looking to the east of this park, we can see a new stadium built.
