The reason why grown-ups want to study is shown in the bar chart while the pie chart determines how people think the cost needs to be shared. According to the bar chart, 40% of the adults want to study since they are interested in the course. It can be seen that 38% of the respondents are interested in gaining a qualification. Exactly 22% of the surveyees decided to study as it will be useful for their career. About 40% of the adults decided to study because they enjoy learning and also because it wil increase their chances for a promotion. Only 9% of the participants responded 'to meet people', making it the most unpopular reason among the seven mentioned. Furthermore, 40% of the people believe that individuals should be baring their own costs. While around 35% of the people expect their employers to help with the education expenses. On the other hand, only 25% of individuals agree that the taxpayers should be contributing for adult education
