The map illustrates the development that happened in Youngsville in New Zealand over the period from 1980 to 2005. Overall, a comparison between the two maps reveals a complete transformation from a residential area to an industrial area. In 1980, on the north of the city, a lot of trees cut down and a park were placed next to the hospital. Similarly, the residential area on the north was removed and replaced by a stadium. In addition to that, the Railway station was continued to cove the whole area until the north. In the southwest, a new warehouse and more factories were placed next to the school and the old houses were knocked down. the trees in the south east were cut down, also the houses in this area were replaced by skyscrapers.
