The maps display information about the layout of Islip Town Centre in Today’s and in the future plans of development layout. Generally, in the future landscape, there is an additional facilities such as huge shopping mall, bus station, and pedestrians road, all of these are connected to a ring road surrounding the city. Following this, in today’s layout the Main road as a primary road that connecting to the west of city to the east. A long side of the Main road, there are several shops. In addition, behind shops in Main road, there is a residential area. The road is not connected to the school and the park. Hence, people need to take a Main road, go to the west and turn left, the school at the south west of the Main road. The park at the south east of the main road just turn right at the Main road. On the contrary, in the future plans development, there are altering significantly in the Main road, it become a ring road that connects all areas and surrounding the town. Some transformation that clearly happen in the future plans, firstly the Main road in previous maps are stood, it will transform to a Pedestrian area. All the long side of Pedestrian area there are a bus station at the north corner, huge shopping centre in between of car park and bus station. At the next side of car park, there is a new residential that interconnected to a ring road. On the south side of Pedestrian area there are several shops and behind that shops there are a residential area. Lastly, The park and school location are same like in the previous maps. But in future plans, all of these facilities are connecting easily by a ring road.
