The two maps illustrate how village of Stokeford, where situated east cost of River Stoke had been changed in 80 yearr between 1930 and 2010.
Overall, there was noticable urbanization factors over this years and it was transformed from small rural places into largely residential area.
Firstly, the most significiant change is presence of residential places which were area of farmland in 1930. Due to increase of population there are increasing number of houses. In addition new roads constarcted for easy and primary school was extended around doubled its size of previous bulding.
Furhermore, the post office and bridge remained in the same place, but the two shops that canbe seen north side of post office in 1930, no longer existed by 2010. it is also replaced by houses. In 1930 version of map, there was a private large house with its garden, whereares it converted into retierement houses in 2010. This was another substantial transformation for the village.
