The two maps display the differences between Pebbleton from twenty years ago and today's one. Pebbleton is a territory that is surrounded by sea on the west and north and by river on the south. Overall, the most considerable transformations refer to the following places: a film studio, an old fort, and a house line. The building that was a film studio twenty years ago was converted into a block of flats, while the old fort to the north of it was transformed to a children's playground. The house line located not far from the old fort to the east from it was expanded in number and three more buildings were constructed. Moreover, a number of new places were built in Pebbleton. Firtsly, a community centre between the house line and children's playground. Secondly, tennis courts appeared on the west side of Lighthouse Lane. Thirdly, two new roads were constructed including a footpath near the tennis courts and a roadbridge that now links Pebbleton to the land located on the south side of the river.
