The layout of a city depicts the changes occurred in a city from 1950 to present. Overall, it can be seen that a numerous changes occurred in the city. The significant fact is that with in a period of 70 years residential area has increased dramatically, while river has witnessed no change. Looking into more detail, in the year 1950 a very small proportion of area was covered as residential, whereas at present it has covered a huge proportion of area. Earlier there was single bridge over the lake, but now in the south east of the city, a new bridge has constructed across the lake A dam has also constructed at the end of the lake in the eastern side and airport has increased in size, which is located in the south east corner of the city. In 1950, there was no lake, but at present the lake has distributed the business district into two parts, in the north and south of the city. A government building and a major road has also developed in the city.
