The pictures demonstrate some changes in Dartmouth over a period of 15 years from 1990 to 2005. Overall, it is clear that Dartmouth experienced a significant transformation from a rural area into a developed city with industrialization, new facilities and infrastructures development. To the north of the river, many trees around the lake was destroyed to make way for some buildings and houses. In the northwestern area, while some trees was demolished, there was an appearance of an airport and some houses. In the southeast of the area, the period from 1990 to 2005 witnessed the replacement of trees and houses by a new supermarket and many buildings. In the northwestern area of the town, the year 2000 experienced the extension of a factory and a ferry, but many houses and trees disappeared.
