The line chart illustrates the number of oil barrels consumed in four countries over the 22 years, between 2009 and 2030. Overall, it is obvious that the figure for oil consumption in the USA and Western Europe & Japan was a slight decline, while the opposite was true for China and the Middle East over the entire period. The number of oil barrels consumption is predicted to decrease in 2030. In 2009, looking at the graph more closely, one can see that the figure for oil barrels consumed in the USA was the dominated in the line chart, approximately 9 million, which was more bottles than China, Middle East, Western Europe, and Japan combined. Moreover, it was reached a peak of 10 million barrels in 2015. A similar pattern can see in China, the number of barrels rose from 2 to roughly 3 million. In 2015, the figure for oil consumption dropped rapidly and is predicted to shrink consistently until 2025. Then, the figure will remain constant at 8 million barrels. Western Europe and Japan have a similar prediction to decrease dramatically until 2030. By contrast, China and the Middle East are expected to rise to nearly 4 and 3 million barrels respectively in the future.
