The line graph interprets the changes in the population growth from India and China over a 50-year time frame ranging from 2000 to 2050. China had a population of approximately 1. 25 billion at the start of the given period while the population in India only stood at 1 billion. Between 2000 and current year, there was a gradual ascent in the population of China up to 1. 45 billion and as for India, it saw momentous rise up to 1. 35 billion population. From 2000 to 2010, there had been a jump in one hundred million from 1. 25 billion to 1. 35 billion and roughly another one hundred million rise in the successive decade in China. Likewise, India had tremendous increase from 1 billion in 2000 to 1. 2 billion within 10 years and with the same acceleration from 2010 to 2025. According to the graph, China is predicted to have a growth up to nearly 1. 45 billion and then have a slight declination over the next two decades and in the meanwhile, India will reach nearly 1. 45 billion in 2030 together with China and is assumed to rise continuously to hit 1. 6 billion on the graph at the end of the given time period. Thus over a 50- year period, India started from the nadir of 1 billion and will culminate at 1. 6 billion and simultaneously, China will reach its peak in the middle of the time frame and will go on with a downward tendency till 2050.
