The given bar chart illustrates the numbers of elephants situated in Asian countries in given two years: 1997 and 2004 Overall, it is abbreviated that there was more elephants were located in the years 1997 compare to 2004 except Cambodia and Laos. Many nations had elephants in the number less than 2000. In Vietnam, there were more than 1000 but less than 1500 elephants in both years. Surprisingly, India had a huge number of elephants which was near 10000 in 1997 while the number dipped to 7500 in next seven years. In 1997, Malaysia and Sri Lanka had around same number of elephants which fell down to 1000 and 2700 respectively. Cambodia seems the only nation in the rate of elephants in the years 2004 was higher than 1997. Also, Laos is the only country which had no change in the numbers of elephants in seven years. Whereas in Myanmar, the numbers peaked above 5000 in 1997 but dropped by around 500 in 2004. Thailand had 3700 elephants in 1997. However, the rate decreased to nearby 1300. China was not convenient for elephants as the number was no more than 1000 in both years.
