The bar chart depicts the changes in the percentage of how citizens aged 25-34 are housed in the UK during the period of 10 years, starting from 2004. Overall, although home owners was initially the largest proportion, it was overtaken by renters towards the end of the survey. As It is illustrated in the chart that at the beginning, home owners was responsible for the largest share at just below 60%, almost 3 times compared to the number of sitting tenants. After that, it remained unchanged at around 57% in 4 years, followed by a gradual and steady drop for 5 years in a row until it reached 35 percent in 2014. Since 2004, the number of people renting has increased. Originally, it accounted for 20 percent, then the figure experienced a slight rise of 3% in the next two years before slowly climbing to more than 40 percent in 2011. The disparity between renters and house owners was almost the same in 2011 and 2012, as the former was 41% and the later was 43%. After that, the figure of tenants continued to rocket to 47% in 2014, outraged the rate of homeowners.
