Overall, there were upward trends in all kinds of categories throughout the period while the figure for consumer-price index saw a positive slope during the timeline. Looking first of all at the fresh ingredients and sugar and sweets, despite starting at the nearly same point at about 60 in 1978, the former increased dramatically to 330 in 2009, leaving a large distance compare to the latter at 150 in the same time. Turning to the carbonated drinks, the trajectory become the lowest point at over 150 in 2008 although the figure began at the similar price at around 60. In addition, the cost of consumer-price index sloped upward from nearly 60 to over 220 at the end of the end of the period. This figure surpassed the sugar and sweet as well as the soft drink, standing under the price of fruits and vegetables.
