The line graph illustrates how much energy had been consumed in The United States of America from 1980 to 2008 along with forecasts until 2030. Overall, the trends of consuming several energies resource mostly increased, the most common power used was Petrol and Oil. However, beside that just only Hydropower had a tendency to decline and this was the least popular energy with American. In 1980, Petrol and Oil consumption initiated the highest quantities (35 quadrillion units), which closely doubled that of coal ( 16 quadrillion units) and were approximately seven times as much as the use of renewable and nuclear energy ( around 4 quadrillion units). Most categories of energy experienced periods of fluctuations but the general trends were upward until 2008, specifically more than 40 quadrillion units in Petro and Oil, natural gas and coal had the same amount being about 25 quadrillion, the consumption of nuclear and solar/wind were 8 and 7 quadrillion units respectively. Meanwhile, solely the quantity of hydropower consumed tended to fluctuate slightly and comparing to starting point ( 1995) went down by 0. 5 quadrillion units. In 2030, It is predicted that Petro, oil and coal energy would be consumed at growing rates and reach 50 and 30 quadrillion units respectively. On the other hand, the expectation for the rest of the energy resources is that they will stay steady, rise and fall no more than 1 quadrillion units until 2030.
