The line graph demonstrates how many female and male students studied in six major subjects at a US university in 2010.
Overall, the number of female and male students studying finance was the highest as compared to the lowest in engineering. The figure for female students was higher than male students studying marketing, and accounting, while the opposite was true for economics, engineering, and mathematics. It is also notable that the number of female and male students studying finance remained the same in 2010.
As can be seen from the chart, there was the same figure at 230 of female and male students studying finance. There were 120 female students studying marketing, approximately 40 students higher than male students. Meanwhile, the figure for female students studying accounting was 200 people as opposed to roughly 170 male students.
The number of students studying engineering was the lowest, and there was not too much difference between female and male around 55 students. Standing at 150 students, the figure of male students studying economics was two times as much as that of their females. Similarly, males accounted for 200 students studying mathematics while their counterparts made up only 60 students.
