The charts depict jail inhabitants of a Europan countury between 1911 and 2001. In general, in the beginning year, female prisoners number peaked and proportions fell down almost 9 times in following years. Male convicts of the country were more at all times, while in 2001, the figure surges to 35000. Although in 1911, famale number of prisoners were the highest level, male ones were 75 percent increase than them. Between 1921 and 1931, firstly gently decrease had been shown and followed steady growth. Untill 1981, male ones remained almost steady, at around 20000 and 25000 people. On contrast, noticable fluctuations occured on datas of female inmates numbers. From 1951 to 1961, the number of jailed women slumped three-fold. After a short ascent to reached to 3000 and, again, continued decline. General figures of jail women maintained the same in two years: 1991 and 2000. While the number of female inmates fluctuated, the number of another gender inmates continuously increased to the 2000.
