The data has been calibrated in percentage. Commencing at 20% which was the highest percentage of individuals who used public transportation in Sydney in 2010, while this ratio declined slightly to almost 80% in 2010. Notably, the percentile of travellers from Perth and Melbourne increased from 50% to 70% and 5% to 7% respectively. Interestingly, the proportion of passenger of public transport it remained stable at in Adelaide and Canberra throughout the given span. Probing further, 80% of people used the private car in 2000 and after a decade it inclined by 10%. Similarly, the percentile of private car user in Perth and Adelaide had increased by 20% throughout the given period. Interestingly, Canberra and Melbourne also showed inclining trend.
