As we can see from the picture above, we have a process that describes the life cycle of a salmon, from an egg to a matured fish. In general, during the life cycle of a salmon, we can see that there are three distinct stages. The first one is from the river to the estuary, the second is from the estuary to the ocean, and the last one is from the ocean to the river. Salmon begins its life from the incubation process, from the eggs fish comes out and the emergence takes place and migrates to the estuary for freshwater. In the estuary, the salmon grow in size and need more food that makes them migrate to the ocean. After entering the ocean younger salmon are still are under the parents until the complete growth and maturation period. Furthermore, Salmon again migrates to the river for reproduction and lays eggs in the river because, in the ocean, other mammals might eat the eggs.
