The graphs below show the enrolments of overseas students and local students in Australian universities over a ten year period.

The given line graph depicts the university enrolments of foreign and local students from 2001 to 2010. Overall, it can be seen that both lines have grown significantly over the presented 10 year period. In addition, the quantity of foreign students was always far lower than that of the locals. In compliance with the graph, the number of students enrolled was mere 20000 people in 2001. However, by 2010, the indicator has rocketed to the whopping 80000 students. It is also worth mentioning, that the graph has not got any highly visible oscillations over the whole period of time. According to the lower line, it is obvious that the growth in the number of foreign students enrolled in the Australian university was not so drastical as of local people. The initial quantity of overseas people being enrolled in the university constitutes in the neighbourhood of 12000 students, and then after a steady increase from 2001 to 2008 its indicator became equal to 30000 foreigners. Thereafter, within one year from 2008 to 2009 it jumped sharply and after a further tiny rise from 2009 to 2010, it accomplished its peak of nearly 42000 students.
