The graphs below show the enrolments of overseas students and local students in Australian universities over a ten year period. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words.

The line graph illustrates the admission of students from foriegn country and local students over a decade starting from 2001 in universities of Australia. Overall, the count of non native and native students has increases drastically over the given period of time. The trajectory of local scholars till the mid decade did not see a great leap in numbers. With regards to, scholars from outside Australia were 20000 in 2001 which kept doubling every 3 years to reach over 80000 by end of the decade. The multiplication happened quick. The number of regional students doubled only after 5years starting at around 10000 in 2001 whereas, the curve reached 40000 mark within next 3 years. The curve is has not found any consistent increase in the last year of the decade.
