The following maps show the changes that have taken place in the centre of a town since 1700.

The diagram above demonstrates the maps of a downtown in the year of 1700 and today. According to the maps, the hotel in the central portion is expanded, while Market square and church in its vicinity remained untouched. Additionally, all of the streets are upgraded, which led to the removal of Steggle farm. However, the bridge on the northwest of the city is not changed. Also the pattern of the shops and house location is evelutionized and turned into a series of parallel houses and shops in south. In the northern part of the city, the Goode farm is vanished and an extensive car parking lot as well as a couple of houses are constructed. Furthermore, it should be considered that the position of stables next to the St. Peter's lane is flattened and a bunch of houses are constructed. As a final point, a pedestrian cross line in market street alongside with a roundabout in high street are designed following the extension of the roads.
