Overall, The total number of tourists visited a Caribbean island, which includes visitors staying on cruise ships and stay on the island, rise over the period. While visitors staying on island experience an increase of volume, but it remained constant all throughout. In 2010, There are a total of 1 million visitors in the Caribbean island. It increases to 250, 000 in 2011 and 2012. Then, In 2013, it reached 2 million total visitors visited the Caribbean island with an increase of 500, 000 from 2012. It continues to increase by half a million in the following year, 2014, with a total of 2. 5 million. In 2015, an increase of quarter of a milliion visited the island and remained steady unitl 2016. Then, In 2017, there’s a sudden peak of about three quarter of a million from 2016, with a total of 3. 5 million visitors visited the island. Meanwhile, visitors staying on cruise ships rise to 500, 000 in 2011 from 250, 000 in 2010, and fluctuated until 2013. In 2014, it reach 1 million visitors, a half a million increase from 2013 and continue to increase the following year. Then, In 2016, it rise to 1. 5 million with an increase of 250, 000 from previous year and reaching 2 million in 2017. In 2010 and 2011, 750, 000 visitors stay on the island and gradually increase to 1. 5 million in 2013. It remained constant throughout the period with a slight decrease in 2016, and able to recover back in 2017.
