The given graph compares the figure for weekly meat and fish consumption in… over a period of 25 years, starting from 1979 Overall, it is obvious that only the number of grams of chicken used grew over the years. On the other hand, the figures for beer, lamb and fish declined whilst the grams of fish is consumed lowest and did not go up at all. In 1979, almost people drank beer as part of their meal with an average consumption of more than 200g per week. Lamb was eaten about 150g per week, slightly higher than chicken, which was consumed around 148g per week. During 10 years, the figure for beer consumption fluctuated from 170g to below 250g/week. The grams of fish and lamb was used less than before, thus Lamb considerably declined ( roughly 100g) and fish decreased to 50g. From 1989 to 2004, chicken was the most popular form of meat, with consumption reaching over 250g per week. By contrast, fish minimally change rough below 50g while the number of beer and lamb significantly dropped to nearly 100g and 60g respectively.
