The graph shows waste generation in the Uk, measured in millions of tonnes from three different sources between 1990 and 2005. mb0mA
The line graph illustrated the amount of waste generated from three different sources in the UK from 1990 to 2005. Overall, it is clear that while the total amount of waste and garbage from industrial and household areas witnessed a decrease, the opposite was true for transport. As can be seen from the chart, In 1990, a total of nearly 8 million tons of waste was discharged from the three mentioned sources, of which the largest number belonged to the industry, which was 6 million tons. The amount of waste produced by transportation and households is about the same, about 1 million tons each. The amount of waste generated from vehicles fluctuated from about 1-2 million tonnes but the figure for households remained at 1 million tonnes. The amount of waste from the total and the industrial area decreased steadily until 1999. From 1999 onwards, the amount of waste generated from all but except transport decreased. In 2002, the emissions from vehicles were equal to industrial zones (approximately 2. 5 million tons) but later continuting to increased to nearly 3 million tons in 2002, the latter decreased to 2 million tons in the last year. Similarly, the amount of the total was also reduced to less than 6 million tonnes and the amount of waste generation from households has almost disappeared.
