The graph illustrates the number of tourists who visited a Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017. Overall, it is noticeable that the total number of tourists who visited the Caribbean island increased over the period of time, those who lived on the crusie ships in particular surpassed those who resided on the island. In 2010, the visitors who lived on the cruse ships stood at 0. 3 million out of the total in 2010 and declined steadily in 2012. After 2012, the figures rose dramatically till the end of the period where it recorded 2 million tourists which was relatively higher than the people who lived on the island. The visitors who stayed on the island stood at around 1million in 2010 and rose considerably till 2016 where it experienced a slight fall and increased again till 2017 with an account of 1. 5 million people. The total number of visitors stood at one million and increased steadily till 2017 where it reached a figure of 3. 5 million.
