Overall, it is clear that people who spent money on mobile phones services increased dramatically in the given period, while those who spent money on residential phone services decreased in the given time period. The data is calibrated in dollars. To begin with, from 2001 to 2006, average annual spending of the Americans on mobile phone was approximately 700 dollars and it fell significantly to 550 dollars. By contarst, the figures for residential phone services was just 200 dollars respectively.
