The line graph compares four areas of accommodation status in a major city in Europe between 1970 and 2000. In general, buying accommodation in other accommodation status markedly changed while the two remanning ones didn’t change as much as them. Also, tenants leveled the highest number during the period. From 1970 to 1980, the number of people buying houses significantly declined from about 55, 000 to 40, 000. In contrast, ternants, landlords and the other followed the same trend. Their figures all steadily went up in 1980 and reached nearly 50, 000, over 30 000 and 20000 respectively. The 20 years, ternants and landlords both gradually decreased to 1970’s figures whereas the number of ones bought houses and the others had the similar tendency of fluctuating over 1980-to-2000 period. Buying accommodation status hit the peak of about 14, 000 people in 1990 in contrast with the other status plunged to the trough of 15, 000 people approximately. In 2000, this two status stopped at 20000 in the same way.
