Overall, It can be seen that, at the start, India’s population was lower than China, but by 2050, India will be reached to peak. From 2000 to 2025, there were more people living in China than India. In 2000, the number of people in India was only 10billions while the number of China is 12. 5 billion. The population gap is 2. 5 billion. During this period, India’s population will be rose fastly while the population of China will be increased slightly. The annual growth rate of China’s population to reach the highest point is only 0. 03 billion. Likewise, the annual growth rate of India is 0. 08 billion to hit a high of 1. 33billion. According to the graph, in the year of 2030. both countries have the same population of 14. 5 billion. Afterwards, China’s population will fall slightly to 13. 5 billion in 2050. The population of India will increase gradually and hit 16 billion in 2050. Over the 50-year period, the number of Indian citizens will rose gradully and will take over China.
