The picture below illustrates how much American customers payed on average for mobile and residential phone services from 2001 to 2010. Overall, both 2 types of phone services moved forward significantly noticeable during the decade. Cell phone services started bottom to the highest point on the picture at the end. In contrast, residential phone services stated high costs at first. However, the cost decreased as a straight line and it never went up the cost until the end. In 2001, people spent 200 dollars for cell phone services on average. Since then, the cost increase drastically and when it was in 2006, general numbers of people pay for it as same amount as residential phone services. The numbers didn’t stop increasing yet and it achieved almost 700 dollars in 2010. Meanwhile, residential phone services costed almost 700 dollars on average too when the time was in 2001. As I mentioned before, the numbers went down without any fluctuations. Since 2006s, residential phone services seemed less popular phone services than mobil phones. The majority of people still decreased the cost for residential phone services and it eventually arrived around 400 dollars in 2010.
