The graph below shows the proportion of the population aged 65 and over between 1940 and 2040 in three different countries. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words. Writing Task 1 Writing

First of all, there is an eye-catching difference between japan and the other two countries based on its sudden change in life expectancy during a decade in 2000’s. On one side, after Japan’s approximately 25% raise in elderly’s population in upcoming years, statistics show Sweden which, unlike Japan has an acceptable raise on proportion of population during 1960 to 1980. This proves that Japan did not have a large community of people aged more than 65-year-old in few decades ago. Continually, USA’s statics are similar to Sweden, however USA’s life expectancy decreased between 2000 and 2020 but on the other hand it rises again in future years. In conclusion, all of the countries that their statics were illustrated in this graph had one similar point which was a positive raise of elderly’s community by 2030 which in japan occurs rapidly meanwhile in the other two countries this change seems to be smooth due to their previous addition.
