It is clear that more people at the age of 16 to 24 attended music festivals than the other groups. Additionally, people aged 55 to 64 years-old showed decreasing interest in music concerts over the period, whereas the opposite was true for the other age groups.
In 2010, the percentages of both youngest people and adults (45-54) who went to music concerts were similar, at 40 %. However, the next 4 years saw a dramatic increase in the younger group, it climbed constantly to reach a peak at about 70%. Whereas the fluctuation of the 45-54 ages group when it considerable felt from 40% to the lowest 30% in 2012. The years after witnessed an upward trend in the percentages of this group which increased by almost 20% in the final year of the period.
Regarding the 25 - 44 years-old and the over 75 years-old, from 2010 to 2011, the figure for the former dropped from 55% to 40% while that of the later doubled to 20%. The rest of the period, however, was different. The younger group started to recover to its initial value in 2012 and rising steadily to about 57% in 2015. In the mean time, the older group fallen to 10% in 2012, before rising again to nearly 20%. Meanwhile, there was a slight increase in the first 4 years of people in the age at 55-64 who went to concerts, followed by a gradual decrease to almost 20% by 2015.
