The number of visitors staying at a cruise ship stood at around 0. 75 million in 2010. It had remained 0. 75 million until 2011. 2011 to 2013 saw a gradual growth in numbers of visitors from 0. 75 million to 1. 5 million, and the numbers had remained the same until 2015. There was a slight drop in numbers to approximately 1. 25 million in 2016 but it bounced back to 1. 5 million in 2017. Unlike the former, where numbers have stayed the same for most of the time, the number of visitors staying on island had been raising since 2010.
