The maps below show the changes experienced by the town of Horton at the beginning of the 21st Century

The maps illustrate developments that took place in Harton town in the early years of the 21st century, in two periods ( 2008, 2016 ). Overall, dramatic changes have been made to the town. Generally, it seems that significant development with replacement and conversion occurred to all parts of the town. While the area in the north and the west of the town experienced a complete change, the area in the east changed slightly. The primary difference is the Industrial complete. It has expanded threefold replacing a part of the woodland and residential area where it took a large part in the east-south of the area. In addition, the Arts Center and residential area were demolished to make way for the new shopping center and the multi-screen cinema. Moreover, a small car park was erected in the original site of the derelict warehouses located to the north of the offices and university, which were repurposed from an old town. It also seems that there was a lake in the east in 2008, however it reduced its size to a pond in 2016.
