The line graph displays the ever changeing trends in the consumption of 3 different wood products in the UK. Over a period of 15 years commencing from 1994 and ending in 2008The striking feature of the graph is that there had been wide fluctuations in the usage of all products. Paper was the only product which showed increase in consumption initially. its rate rose steadily till 1997 and reached 114%, approximately. Thereafter, there have been ups and downs in its use. reaching slightly over 120% by2005, it's peak figure. Over the next three years. However this rate fell rather slowly to 110%. consumption of wood panels fell initially, but after 1997 it started raining and scored up to 124% by 2007. then it fell sharply to its initial level. Use of sawn wood plummeted to about 78% over the first year, then started rising. It reached its peak of about 110%by 2003 and 2007 and finally dropped to about 82% in the final year. Over all. Although the use of paper rose by around 10%, there was no variation in the case of wood panels and sawnwood use declined considerably.
