The graph shown illustrates the number of visitors to one Caribbean island in the period between the years 2010 and 2017. Overall, the total number of those visitors shows a constant increase from 2010 to 2015, and then an approximate stability without any change throughout 2015 to 2016. Looking at the details, we can see that the tourists who stayed on the island were exceeding those who stayed at the cruise ships till somewhere near mid 2015 when they were totally equal in number. And then, the cruise ships visitors surpassed those who stuck around the island. Between 2010 and 2011, the number of tourists who remained on the land stayed at about 0. 75 million visitor (750k), but after that this number continued to grow till it reached 1. 5 million of them in 2013 and remained consistent till 2015. But in the next year, the number declined and was set on 1. 25 million before it rose again to 1. 5 millions in 2017. On the other hand, the quantity of the people that chose to stay on the ships had increased from almost 0. 25 million (250k) in 2010 to 0. 5 million (500k) tourists in 2011 before it went back to how it was previously in the year 2012. After that, this number continued in a constant increase to record 2 million visitors in 2017.
