The given line graph illustrates the quantity of goods which were transported from one place to another in UK from 1974 to 2002. Overall, the maximum number of goods were transported through road while least goods were sent by pipeline. To begin with, 70 million tonnes products were transported through the roads in 1974 which have shown the gradual increase in next year. The data went above 80 million tonnes of goods which were preferred to transport by road. It was sharply inclined in 1998 almost with 15 million tonnes and remained same till 2002. Furthermore, near about 40 million tonnes sent through waterways from 1974 to 1978 and reached till just below 60 million tonnes in 1982 which was similar before 1994. It's data went above 60 million tonnes. Meanwhile, rail was used for 40 million tonnes goods from 1974 till 1978 but highly declined in 1986 with 10 million tonnes and have shown many fluctuations in next 8 year. However, it came to its initial position in the eventual years. Pipeline was least used mode of transport for sending the goods as less than 10 million goods were transported through it but slowly increased in 1982 and remained constant till 1990 with 15 million tonnes and it was above 20 million tonnes from 1994 to 2002.
