The diagram explains how cocoa is arranged for transport to those countries in which making chocolate. This essay will give a detailed description of the process. Overall, there are seven steps in the process, starting with fermentation and finishing with shipping abroad. To begin with, the ripe pods are collected then they are fermented. Next, the fermented pods are cut in half and every beans are taken out of the pods. Those purple beans are put on the banana leaves to dry in the sun for six days and when they are turned brown those dry beans are spreaded on raised mats to be drained for the next 10 to 20 days. In the next stage of the process, the dried cocoa beans are packed in large sacks and then conveyed to the local agents. After that, these agents check the quality of the cocoa beans and weigh them. Next, the money from the agents are payed to the farmers. When the last step is has been completed, the cocoa are ready to be exported.
