The graph compares the production of paper and plastic cups in a factory over the twelve months of a year. Overall, the production of paper cups predominates over the plastic ones in the majority of months. Otherwise, both of the cups go through the fluctuating curves during the entire year. To begin, the production of paper cups commenced from 1. 1 million in the January to reach 1. 8 million by April. During in between the months, it showed a drop in March to 1. 2 from 1. 7 million February production. From May to September, its production stayed relatively stable between 1. 0 and 1. 2 million. However, October and November has seen the rise in the growth to 1. 5 and 1. 6 million respectively before declining to 1. 2 million by the end of year in the December. On the other hand, the plastic cups follow the pattern of consecutive rise-drop in their production from January to July. The months of January (1. 2 million), March (1. 6 million), May (1. 4 million) and July (1. 8 million) are having comparatively higher production rate than February, April and June (approximately 1. 0 million). During the second half of year, August, September and December have roughly equal level of production (1. 0 million); whilst a little higher 1. 2 and 1. 4 million produce of cups are done in October and November respectively.
