The line graph compares the proportion of car(s) per a family has in United Kingdom in the 40-year period, starting from 1990. Overall, the data on one car rose, the same was true for that of two or more cars over the period. Also, no car saw a biggest change from 1990 to 2030 As can be seen from the graph, no car was the highest figure out of three data with over 50%, after that was approximately 40% for one car and over 10% for two or more cars in 1990. After 15 years, the proportion of one car hit a peak at 55%. No car, however, saw a noticeable drop by over 15%. Beside, two or more cars hit the lowest point at 9%. In term of 2005 to 2030, there was the huge modification in the figure of car ownership. The year 2030 see a significant decline to 41% for the figure of one car and below 20% for that of no car. On the other hand, the proportion of two or more cars climbs rapidly by over 30%. The highest figure is one car, two or more car held the second position and no car is the least. Comparing with 1990, the data on one car rise around 5% and two or more cars rise over 30% while the proportion of no car reduce steeply from over 50% to 15%.
