The given line graph illustrates the yearly spending pattern of cell phones and residential phone services from 2001 to 2010 in the US. Overall, it can be observed that the popularity of the cell phone services increased while, residential phone services showed a downward trend during the stipulated period. In 2001 the outlay of cell phone services was around 200 whereas, it was around $700 for the residential phone services. Then after five years cell phones uses rosed to almost $500 as well as landline services dropped it to nearly $650. But interestingly after in 2006 both these services reached at $550. However after that, both these services showed a upward and downward trend. At the end of the year these figures for disbursement of phone services in United States went up dramatically to near $800 for residential services while in terms of mobile services it dropped nearly $450.
