The given line graph illustrates the total number of people who travelling from their home to their workplace by three different vehicles: car, bus and train in each day from 1970 to 2030 in UK. Overall, while the data of car and train follow the upward trend, that of bus follow the opposite trend. Additionally, car is the most popular vehicles used in the survey period. There is the similar trend between the number off people choose car and train to travel. The number of commuters travelling by car stood at around 5 million, which is the highest, whereas the figure of train started at the lowest level, with about 2 million at 1970. In the 50-year period from 1970 to 2020, both experienced a dramatic increase to 7 million people choose car to travel, and around 4 million people choose train transporting. In the next 10 years, both of them also is predicted to grow, but that of car also is going to be the highest, with 9 million commuters choosing while that of train just 5 million people. In the opposite trend, the number of commuters travelling by bus saw a slight decrease from 4 million commuters to just over 3 million ones from 1970 to 2020. This data is also predicted to fall until 3 million commuters in 2030. More than that, this figure is going to become the lowest in 2030.
