The given line chart above illustrates to us the information about how the using up of 6 various categories of energy sources which are petrol and oil, coal, natural gas, nuclear, solar/wind and hydropower changed in the USA between 1980 and 2030. Overall, when we look at the graph in general, it can be seen that the majority of categories have an upward trend. However, hydropower has a stable trend during the given 50 years period. Initially, getting back to the details, we can see that petrol and gas units increased dramatically, which was 35 and approximately 48, respectively. Similarly, coal's category went up significantly by about 13 per cent in the given period. Moreover natural gas fluctuated in the same years. It inclined gradually, which was 20 and 23, respectively. As can be seen that, nuclear's consumption rose moderately given the periods. Furthermore, solar and wind unit improved steadily and will reach 6 unit. Lastly, hydropower did not change considerably between 1980 and 2030.
