Overall, it is noticeable that, asides from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, all the other countries’ oil production is nearly the same throughout the given period. Saudi Arabia, the highest oil producer among all the other countries, produced about 8 million barrels per day for lowest and 15 million barrels per day for highest in 1990 and 2010, respectively. On the other hand, the oil produced by Qatar remained nearly the same ranging from 1 to 2 million barrels within the 20-year period. For the second highest, Iran stood with the range that is between 2 to 5 for the whole period, while Kuwait extracted nearly 1, 2, 3 and 4 million barrels in 1990, 2000, 2005 and 2010, respectively. 2010 was the highest year of oil production for UAE with nearly 4 million of barrel, although that was lower than the Iran’s.
