The given graph gives the data about oil production of six Arab countries between 1990 and 2010, for 20 years, and is measured in millions of barrels per day. Overall, it is noticeable that, asides from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, all the other countries’ oil production is nearly the same throughout the given period.
Saudi Arabia, the highest oil producer among all the other countries, produced about 8 million barrels per day for lowest and 15 million barrels per day for highest in 1990 and 2010, respectively. On the other hand, the oil produced by Qatar remained nearly the same ranging from 1 to 2 million barrels within the 20-year period. For the second highest, Iran stood with the range that is between 2 to 5 for the whole period, while Kuwait extracted nearly 1, 2, 3 and 4 million barrels in 1990, 2000, 2005 and 2010, respectively.
2010 was the highest year of oil production for UAE with nearly 4 million of barrel, although that was lower than the Iran’s. For Iran, the oil production did not fluctuated very much, varying between 2 and 4 from 1990 to 2010. Similarly, UAE also did the same as Qatar but a bit low in the quantity of oil, oscillating from 2 to nearly 4, in the given 20-year period.
